Why We Built It

This project started as a solution to a problem I faced every day in class. My friend had a MacBook and I was on a Windows laptop, and we couldn’t use AirDrop to share notes and files between our devices.

Frustrated by clunky third-party services that were slow, riddled with ads, or had file size limits, we decided to build our own tool. The result was WikeDrop—a lightning-fast, no-fuss file sharing service that works across all devices and operating systems.
